Fall City Farms offers pick your own vegetables including potatoes, corn, cabbage, zucchini, beans, carrots, beets, pumpkins, and more.
Fall City Farms has closed its gates to the retail vegetable and pumpkin store and fields, and to the picnic area. The main farm is closed to the public. We continue to sell U-cut Christmas trees at our 3309 Fall City/Carnation Road lot.
We are healthy and happy and looking forward to new endeavors and experiences. The farm is located in a flood plain and, if you have read the “Flood Stories” and seen some of the pictures, you know what that has done for us! We have experienced losses and had the unsettling illustration of why our fields, in the path of the overflowing river, should be grass fields, not row crops. That, along with having grown row crops for 21 years, having no summer or autumn breaks for the same, and yes, we are getting older, has convinced us that we need to change our farming focus. We have family that want to see more of us, on the east coast, in the southwest, and in the northwest. What better draw to seeing more of our country?
Grand Central Bakery has been a loyal supporter of ours for many years now. They have used our vegetables in their soups, tarts, breads, sandwiches. We continue to grow for them. You can continue to support us by having a bite at Grand Central Bakery! And, thank them for supporting local farmers.
