Indigo Farms is a family farm that goes back six generations on this land. Besides being a Century Farm it has some rather interesting history of it’s own. Today the farm is still run by OK Bellamy and Mary Bellamy. Kenny and his wife, Gray, and Sam Bellamy with his wife, Sarah, also work and run the farm. The farm offer u-pick asparagus, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, grapes, sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelons, vegetables, and more.
This is a family farm where we grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. These are available at our Farm Market. While you’re here, be sure to stop by the Garden Center. Also, visit the Bakery for lunch or a relaxing cup of coffee with a slice of pie. During business hours the Barnyard is available with an assortment of farm animals that delight all ages.
The Farm, which is in both NC and SC, has many different activities during the year. The spring starts with Pick-Your-Own (PYO) strawberries, followed by PYO blueberries and blackberries in the summer. Educational tours of the farm are available for groups by reservation. October is full of family fun with Pumpkin Patch hayrides, pig races, and the Haymaze. Bonfires and night-time hayrides are available by reservation in October and November. Don’t forget to come out for our event days the first and third Saturdays in October!
