Saint Augustine U-Pick Farm (BerryStacks) is a vertically stacked, hydroponic farm, and the vision of John Alexon, owner of the Saint Augustine Flea Market. The farm opened to the public on December 1, 2011. Hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
We specialize in strawberries. We also grow tomatoes, herbs, lettuce (when in season), and more. Patrons are encouraged to harvest their own produce.
We are a hydroponic farm, featuring strawberries, lettuce, green beans, sugar snap and snow peas, tomatoes, collards, kale, spinach, swiss chard, and various herbs. We grow our produce in a stacked system, so there is no bending or kneeling involved!
We are outdoors, so we can grow field varieties, which are typically more flavorful than hot house cultivars. We are happy to schedule educational tours and field trips that include picking. Bring the whole family for a day of fun!
